New open access journal accepting submissions: Optical Nanoscopy
Dear Colleague,
I am writing to let you know about the new open access journal Optical Nanoscopy, which I will soon be launching together with Springer.
The journal is now accepting submissions and I would like to encourage you to submit your next research article to the journal.
Optical Nanoscopy is a peer-reviewed open access journal devoted to the rapid dissemination of original works on principles, development, and applications of optical imaging with spatial resolution substantially better than half the wavelength of light. The scope is covering concepts known as STED, PALM/STORM, SSIM, RESOLFT, PAINT, SOFI, etc., as well as SNOM/NSOM and other emerging concepts.

Optical Nanoscopy will be published under the brand SpringerOpen, Springer's new range of fully open access journals.
By submitting your research to a SpringerOpen journal you will benefit from:
  • Open Access – full access to publications with only internet connection required
  • Rigorous peer review
  • Publication speed - full publication within 4 to 6 weeks after submission
  • Retaining the copyright to your article
  • Support of all publishing standards like supplementary information and multimedia files
To enable the journal to make all of its content open access, Optical Nanoscopy levies an article processing charge (APC) for each manuscript accepted after peer review.
Please note that all SpringerOpen journals are covered by our Open Access Membership Program.
If your institution is a Member, such as the Max Planck Society (Germany), the MIT Libraries (USA), and the National Institute of Health (USA), the cost for the APC is covered in full or in part by the Membership.
For more information about the journal and to submit
your next research article, please visit the journal website optnano.com.
Yours sincerely,
Stefan W. Hell
