Welcome to LEDs Magazine weekly newsletter for October 13, 2010.

Our major story this week is the loophole in LM-79 testing that allows the performance of LED lamps to be reported under either AC or DC testing – even though the performance can be significantly different.

The October issue of our Outdoor LED Lighting newsletter contains several important stories, including a Request for Proposals from San Francisco, and a report from the Street and Area Lighting Conference.

As always, please use our online form to upload your press release and product information.
