AkzoNobel will significantly expand the capacity of its worldscale Trimethyl Gallium plant in LaPorte, Texas, USA during summer of 2010, enhancing its position as the globally leading manufacturer of this electronic grade material.

The High Purity Metalorganics (HPMO) business, is a leading producer of semiconductor grade Indium-, Gallium-, Aluminum and Zinc-based metalorganics which are used as key precursor materials in the production of light emitting diodes (LEDs) and solar cells.
